How we verify
An answer is verified when the printer maker's own page was opened and the quoted words appear on it. Retailer listings, forums, reviews and AI summaries never verify.Verification is not physical testing: we have not physically tested these printers.
What counts
Only the maker's documents count: product pages, wiki pages and notices published by the maker. Each answer shows the page, the date we opened it and a quotation of 25 words or fewer from that page. If a maker's page changes or disappears, the answer is re-checked.
The five states
- Verified. The maker's page for that printer and claim was opened and quoted. Shown with a tick and the date.
- Maker states. The maker says it but not in our wording. Shown without a tick.
- Under review. The maker's pages disagree, or a credible correction is open. Shown in amber, and no seller link appears.
- Not verified. Never shown as an answer. Absence of evidence is not turned into a verdict.
- Does not fit or not recommended. A verified negative, in the maker's own words.
Which printers are published
A printer is published only when at least 80% of the answers we intend to publish for it are verified. The intended list is fixed in advance and unverified answers stay in the count.
| Printer | Status | Verified |
|---|---|---|
| Bambu Lab A1 | Current | 13 of 13 |
| Bambu Lab A1 mini | Current | 13 of 13 |
| Bambu Lab P1S | Current | 13 of 13 |
| Bambu Lab H2D | Current | 13 of 13 |
| Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (X1C) | Legacy | 13 of 13 |
| Original Prusa MK4S | Current | 12 of 12 |
Answers were restated in the maker's own words where the maker states the fact differently from how we first wrote it. No answer was dropped from the count to lift a printer over the line.

What this is not
It is not a physical test. We do not say a part was tested, measured or bought by us. A verified answer means the maker says so; it does not mean a particular spool, nozzle or batch will behave that way.
How we make money
We do not sell anything. Seller links appear only after a verified answer, are labelled as affiliate links, and are removed while a credible correction is open. There are no seller links yet. See the affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
Every page shows when it was last checked. If something is wrong, report it. Credible reports are logged in public and the affected answer is held until it is resolved.
