About ReplacementHQ

ReplacementHQ is an independent UK guide to replacement parts and consumables: what the maker says about your device, when to replace a part, and what to look for, with the source shown. We are not a shop. Some links may earn us a commission, always disclosed, and it never influences what we recommend.

What this site is

ReplacementHQ is the UK replacement knowledge graph. For the stuff you keep re-buying (filament, blades, filters, cartridges, pads), we start from the device: which materials and wear parts the maker's own documents cover, and what they say. Each answer shows its source and the date it was checked, and the first device type is 3D printers.

Why it exists

Compatibility answers are scattered across retailer listings, manufacturer FAQs and forum threads, and most of the places holding them have a sales agenda. A shop will tell you its own part suits your machine and will not say much about the alternatives. We wanted one independent place where the answer is a sourced fact, not a pitch.

How we make money

Some of the links on our pages are affiliate links: if you buy through one, the retailer may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. That is the whole business model. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored reviews or manufacturer samples, and commission rates are not a ranking input. We have no retailer partnerships in place yet, so there are no "where to buy" links yet. The full detail is in our affiliate disclosure.

The aisle roadmap

We build one category at a time and only publish what has been checked. The first is 3D printing: materials and wear parts for a small set of printers. Another category is added only after the first has been judged on real evidence.

Who runs it

ReplacementHQ is operated by Muswell Rose Consulting Ltd, a UK company. Content is written by Adam Parker. Adam Parker is the named editor. Answers are checked against the makers' own documents, not by a named technical expert, and we do not claim 3D-printing expertise.

How we work is documented in detail: read how we verify for the method and our editorial policy for how content is made, corrected and kept up to date. Questions or corrections: see the contact page.
